Accordingly, the latest deadline falls on November 30, 2013, a two month extension from the originally set date.
The country is planning to offer more than a dozen of potential oil blocks to successful bidders, through the ongoing licensing round.
The Island nation held successful road shows in places such as Houston, London and Singapore during the month of March this year to promote its second petroleum exploration licensing round.
Over 200 attendees have taken part in the road shows, with some companies sending representatives to all three road shows.

PRDS announces a 2 month extension of the deadline for the submission of bids – the new deadline will now be November 30, 2013.
Taking into account the vintage and coverage of data in some blocks, PRDS may accept a substantial data acquisition and interpretation programme as a subsitute for a commitment well in Phase 1. The expectation of PRDS remains, however, that where data is modern and of good coverage,bidders will commit at least one well in Phase 1, which would attract a higher score than a contingent well for the same block.
